Spyder locks made their competition debut in the 2007 XRRA rock racing
opener at Moab, Utah. Quote from Rick Deremo Team #33, Xtreme
Motorsports "We used the new spyder locks at the first XRRA event in
Moab. These beadlocks are by far the best on the market. We hammered
them and they held up to our abuse. No other Wheel that we have ever
used held up like the Spyderlocks have. We slammed into some rocks hard
enough to jar my teeth, before when we did this we always either bent
or broke a wheel. Clifton and the crew at Poison Spyder customs, our
hats are off to you for building a wheel that can handle the abuse that
the XRRA dishes out".
SPYDERLOCK WHEELS DEBUT IN MOAB
Spydelocks innovative bead lock wheel had it's premier to
the off road community at this years Easter Jeep safari. The
has many progressive attributes that make it the new front runner in
the rock sport world. The new bead lock could be seen cruising the
trails on our own machines to include the Ultimate adventure Unlimited,
Bombshell Betty and Suicide Sally. These three machines knocked
new shine off of the wheels by giving them plenty of rock rash and high
speed sand blast'n through the dunes. Spydelockr's own rock racer
along with Rick Deremo's Xtreme Motor sports team successfully crash
tested the bead lock wheels during the XRRA's rock race season opener.

ULTIMATE TEST FOR SPYDERLOCK PROTOTYPES
4 Wheel and Off Road's Ultimate adventure was the stage to test the
very first set of prototype Spyderlock Wheels. With Rick Pewe at the
helm of the 2006 Ultimate FJ, the virgin bead locks were sure to be
tested. These off road wheels were wrapped by another prototype,
BFGoodrich's first batch 39 inch Krawlers. In concert they propelled
Rick and his "Ultimate Ninja turtle" flawlessly through 2000 miles of
rock, sand and pavement. In fact, the wheel and tire
combo was never balanced before the trip yet easily ran at excessive
highway speeds with nary a vibration. After the adventure, the
Spyderlocks were washed and dusted off to be displayed under the UA FJ
at Las vegas's own SEMA show.
